Citta di Catania ~ 3 August 1943

 
While sailing from Durres to Brindisi, the Italian passenger steamer Citta di Catania was torpedoed by the HMS Unruffled on August 3, 1943. She had 407 passengers on board.

She broke in two and sank within two minutes, killing 207 passengers and 49 crew. No more information has been found.
